Dr Mpho Banda was born in South Africa and immigrated to Australia in 2015. She trained and worked as a Consultant Occupational Physician in the Netherlands and Belgium with over 17 years experience in a diverse range of industries including the pharmaceutical, insurance and staffing industry.
Mpho focuses on multi-disciplinary care and a holistic approach through the delivery of occupational medical services. With a particular interest in health promotion and health monitoring, Dr Banda has extensive experience in establishing client needs and developing assessment tools and wellbeing programs aimed at increasing work participant and productivity, health status and return on investment for employers.
She has knowledge, appreciation and understanding of economic and social issues affecting employees of diverse cultural backgrounds in the workplace.
Mpho offers Occupational Health Services including, work absence and return to work (RTW) and work-related injury management. She conducts an array of the following health assessments:
She has a particular interest in employee wellness and mental health and is highly motivated and committed to improving the quality of life of others. Mpho focuses specific attention on the physical, emotional, cognitive and psychological aspects by way of serving as a link for referrals to specialists and relevant multidisciplinary health-care providers.
Mpho has significant occupational medicine experience, a thorough knowledge and commitment to compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS), workplace diversity, high-quality customer service, industrial democracy principles and practices, and an understanding of and commitment to organisational values.

Dr. Stephan Praet is a Dutch Sport and Exercise Physician, with registration both in the Netherlands, Australia and Dubai (UAE). He is adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Canberra Research Institute for Sport and Exercise (UCRISE). Dr. Praet previously worked at the Australian Institute of Sport and currently works in private practice for OCHRE Health, at the University of Canberra Health Hub, Bruce, ACT.
Dr. Praet holds a PhD in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Maastricht University, The Netherlands and he is a Fellow of the European Board of Sports Medicine (FEBSM) as well as the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (FACSEP). He is currently Associate Editor of the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport and is also a member of an international MOVEMBER steering committee that has been initiating and supervising a global GAP4 trial on the effect of Intense Exercise in Metastatic Castrate-Resistant Prostate Cancer.
Clinical interests include: Overuse injuries, Metabolic stress, & Sports Nutrition; Medical Imaging of Musculoskeletal injuries; Cardiovascular response to exercise; Lower limb and foot biomechanics; Exercise and Chronic disease. His clinical expertise and strong academic background provides him with a unique skill set to assess and manage complex sports & work related injuries and illnesses.
Dr. Praet covers most sports medicine related problems, but has a special interest in:
